ChatGPT vs. GPT3
GPT-3 (Generative Pretrained Transformer 3) is the latest and largest language model developed by OpenAI, while ChatGPT is a variation of GPT-3 that has been fine-tuned specifically for conversational AI applications. In other words, ChatGPT has been trained on a large dataset of conversational data to generate human-like responses in a chat setting. The main difference between the two is the purpose they were trained for, and as a result, ChatGPT is better suited for generating conversational responses compared to the general-purpose GPT-3.
Explained with an example;
Here's an example to illustrate the difference between GPT-3 and ChatGPT:
Input: "What is the capital of France?"
Output (GPT-3): "The capital of France is Paris."
Output (ChatGPT): "Paris is the capital of France."
As you can see, the output generated by ChatGPT is more conversational in nature, with a more human-like response compared to the more straightforward response generated by GPT-3.
