Floods in Pakistan caused loss of over Rs65b to health sector

ISLAMABAD: The floods in Islamic Republic of Pakistan have badly broken health sector of the country, ARY News reportable, citing sources.

According to sophisticated sources, floods have caused the loss of over Rs65 billion to the health structure. As several as one,091 health centres are broken in Sindh, The loss is calculable at Rs34.13 billion.


297 health centres are broken in floods in Balochistan and therefore the calculable loss is Rs18.98 billion, the sources aforesaid.


In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 221 health centres are broken by floods. The calculable loss to the health structure in KP is Rs8.37 billion.


In Punjab, sixteen health centres were broken in floods.


On the hand, amid damages caused by floods in Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the deficit is probably going to swell by Rs3,797 billion within the current year of 2022-23, aforesaid sources.


The provinces won't be ready to Rs750 billion surplus to the centralized as per the United Nations agency condition, this year because of devastating floods in Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the sources aforesaid.


They any aforesaid the provinces won't be ready to provide the excess quantity to the centralized because of further expenses for the revival of the broken structure because of floods.
